Hardcover books are the most traditional form of the book. It has hard board for the front and back cover that are then covered with printed paper or cloth/materials. The books are usually smythe sewn to allow for a great opening and lay flat properties of the text pages.
The variations are endless with adding dust jackets, belly bands, foil stamping, silk screen printing, debossing, reading ribbons and other treatments. Drop us a line or give us a call and we will gladly send you samples of our work.
We like the traditional hard cover books very much but we are also always up for the challenge of doing creative bindings to make your book stand out.
Softcover books are called so rightly because the cover of the book is made of paper making the cover soft. Usually with a much thicker paper than the pages in the book.
The binding is done by gluing the signatures together or what is more popular, sewing them together, allowing for a very nice opening and lay flat properties.

Shipping can be anywhere from overnight via Fedex or DHL Express to 5-7 days for cargo airfreight shipping to 3-5 weeks using sea freight transportation.
Cost estimates are provided for shipping and they are door-to-door costs.
Customs clearing and other shipping related paperwork are handled by our logistics department so you never have to worry about shipping issues.

For book binding cloth we use among others: Brillianta, Cialux, Assuan, Bukram and Cialinen.
For endsheets and other colored paper needs we use Wibalin and Geltex.
Foils are from Kurtz the leading manufacturer of book binding foils.
Each project will need it´s own schedule. Once the specification have been finalized and cost estimate approved we will prepare a detailed one for your work.
As a general rule of thumb production time from approval of proofs is 2-3 weeks but very complicated projects can take longer. Faster turnaround is also available if needed.
